Microblading aftercare

You will be sent home with a clear bandage on your eyebrows this is a liquid bandage and will appear clear with no shine so it will not be noticeable, you will keep this bandage on for 3 days with no washing touching or getting wet until the 4th day when you will start using your wipes and lotion that have been provided.

Please make sure you use one wipe in the morning and one at night for 5 days (do not scrub with the wipes just press gently with the wipes) then use a very small amount of lotion after each use with wipes you will then continue using your lotion to moisturize your eyebrows for the next 4-6 weeks until lotion is gone.

Only touch the area with very clean hands and always use a clean fingertip to apply your lotion. This is a must to avoid infection. DO NOT RUB, PICK OR SCRATCH THE AREA FOR ANY REASON. Do not wash or scrub the area. Avoid scrubbing the area for ONE MONTH after your procedure.

Your eyebrows will appear BOLDER immediately and the next few days after the procedure. This is common in every procedure. It will to soften up after a few days. Hair strokes appear crisp and bold at first but soften up as the tissue heals. is common for some areas to fade more than others.

A few days in you will start to notice your brows will look very dark and crusty this is normal after the skin starts to lightly peel off it may look as if the color underneath has disappeared but this is caused by your skin growing over the pigment and over the next few weeks the pigment will start slowly coming though and at 8 weeks you will then know the final results and know if you will need an optional touch up.

Please wait at least 10 days after your procedure before having your eyebrows waxed, tweezed or threaded. Absolutely no SUN or TANNING prior to or after your procedure for 10 days. If you show up for your appointment with a new tan or a sunburn, you will need to reschedule and will forfeit your deposit. As your skin exfoliates from sunburn, it will take the pigment with it.

NO sweating for 10 days after. Sweat contains salt, which will prematurely fade the pigment in the skin on the treated area for TEN days. NO makeup, powders, absolutely nothing but your aftercare lotion. (To help maintain the longevity of your brows we recommend switching to a daily moisturizer with spf once fully healed.)

NO swimming in salt water or Chlorine before the area is completely healed may contribute to loss of color.

Touch ups could be for many reasons whether you want your brows darker or bigger. most commonly touch ups are required when working on a cover up of existing eyebrow work or when there is very little to no hair. Touch up fee varies based on the artist and cannot be booked before the 8 weeks of healing if you choose to have done, touch up appointments will be added to the end of an eyebrow day and will result in a wait no longer that 1-3 months out.
