rachel

Rachel is originally from New York and studied Fine Arts at SVA in NYC before moving to Dallas, where she trained in massage therapy in 2009. After practicing for several years in Texas and California, she stepped away to focus on her career as a visual artist and recently found her way back to massage. Her work is individualized and influenced by an ongoing interest in anatomy, movement, fascia, and the nervous system, drawing from everything from Swedish and deep tissue massage to myofascial work, cupping, gua sha, and assisted movement. When she’s not working, she’s usually making art, taking photos, working out, hanging out with her dogs and husband, or trying to keep her plants alive in the Texas heat. She’s also a big fan of Korean day spas and coffee with a really good croissant.
